UP still runs intermodals between the LA area and the PNW. Symbols have changed a good bit recently, but to the best of my knowledge they are running as the ZLCTA and ITALC. These are between Shops Yard in downtown LA and Tacoma. This pair used to be the ZLCBR and ZBRLC (Shops Yard to Brooklyn Yard in Portland) but my understanding is that they changed to the above around the beginning of the year.
Prior to 2019 UP was running the ZLCLT and ZLTLC between Shops Yard and Lathrop. I'm not sure if these are still running or not.
UP used to also run a few other intermodal trains on the I5 corridor, through I believe these have all been cut within the last year.
BNSF's Riverbank Yard is strictly for manifest traffic. There is some local traffic, and at least in years past it was often used as an overflow for Stockton. The BNSF Mariposa Yard mentioned above can be seen here (google map):
