It will be interesting when the Larkspur extension opens late this year.Will there be shock, outrage, disappointment or anger when SMART riders come to realize the train connection between Larkspur and the ferry is almost a half mile walk away. What will the timing interval be for a shuttle service between the Larkspur station and the ferry terminal? Would it make more sense to get off the train in San Rafael and take the bus directly to the ferry terminal ? And for the average commuter who needs to get to work on time and has no interest in trains would it make more sense to simply take Golden Gate transit busses directly to the city?
