Having gone through two major earthquakes in my life, not to bad. The biggest problem is the desert sand that buildings are built on. Did you see that none of the walls had rebar in then, and no concrete pillars poured in them? The building in the opening shots in Trona was probably built in the 1940's, and would have fallen in a moderate earthquake. The road bump was impressive though.
