CORP Coos Bay line.

Todays' Eugene, Ore. Register-Guard paper says the STB ruled yesterday, 10-31-08, that CORP probably can't abandon the line from Eugene to Coos Bay, and should sell it the the Port Of Coos Bay. The STB said the line is too important to be abandoned. The problem, though, is fixing the price of sale. There seems to be many variables involved, and of course, both parties a far apart on the money issue. At least this is a step forward, instead of backward, for the people who have depended on this line for years.
