I admit making an assumption:
On Altamont Press I read that among modern NWP customers(modern—sharing the line with SMART) they had a feed yard of two up there.
My first guess was that these cars came up loaded with feed grain. And now empty they are destined back to UP and returning east.
I vaguely remember the business with the brewery to bring up grain never materialized.
But seeing the same cars parked a month later I wondered if something suspended NWP freight?
I want to see more freight customers on the line.
Those gauntlet tracks at the stations need use.
