Maybe not exactly what you asked but;

About the time BNSF wanted to spin off the Frisco Pensacola line, I would say KYLE had the creds if not the cash. A partnership/merger into somthing sounding like 'Statesrail' was formed to aquire it and run the former 'KYLE' properties. That was gobbled by RailAmerica, and eventually G&W.

Kyle dies somewhere in there. So you can imagine the YW op was no biggie to spin off, and that some shister money man got involved with the locals trying to keep the 'Blue Goose' running.
