Although I'm way too old to want to fit in with the hipsters, I still shoot slide film and will continue to do so until either it or I disappear. Frankly, I consider it an art form that I have mastered and am comfortable with. (Admittedly, I do use a digital camera for non-rail subjects.) My 50-year old Nikon and Pentax SLRs work just fine, and in half a century of photography the processors have only damaged two rolls of film. I have never had a roll lost in transit, and my house has yet to burn down.
