No, it's an accurate, contemporary representation of LEFTISTS by center left/center right LIBERALS such as myself who call it like it is. I am a liberal. I'm NOT a leftist. I'm sure this will confound many who eschew nuance and cling to their political dichotomy.

Yes, 15-20 years ago, the Republicans and neo-con right were f*cking up domestic and foreign policy as if they had some regressive, authoritarian point to prove. Not sure what this has to do with the left-wing super-majority held in California all of this century.

We're talking about the San Francisco Bay Area. No Republicans or right wing policies have any influence, much less control over social and economic policies. You haven't presented a counter-argument to my original position. I'm now expected, along with every other net taxpayer in California to pay $98 million to provide FREE healthcare to any illegal alien who can make it here. According to Newsome, that figure will INCREASE over the next few years as they expand the program to cover MORE illegals. No money for homeless citizens. No money for the opioid crises that exclusively affects citizens. Certainly no money for mentally ill citizens living on the street.

These ARE leftist policies. This has nothing to do with Republicans or the right. This isn't 1998 or 2003 anymore. The left has their super-majority. They need to start using it for something other than enforcing compelled speech (gender pronouns) and assisting illegals and the expense of citizens.
