I don't buy into the climate change/global warming rage, but I, like so many, do adjust to price signals. They mostly come from the market and natural gas signals lower energy costs as well as somewhat lower emissions. So we use natural gas, a fossil fuel, for heating and cooking. And heating our swimming pool.
Since most greenies (not saying you're one) object to, and sue or occupy to delay, construction of gas pipelines I have no problem with flaring methane, the Darth Vader of GHG, which burns to carbon dioxide and water.
