Too bad Charlie Smallwood is not still around: I'm sure he could offer some insights into the past of #19.

California St. would of course be the natural line to test out the Sacramento St. car since it parallels the original route and features doubled ended cars.

Now about that re-opening of the Cal Cable to Fillmore St.?
