SacRT accident tonight

Sacramento RT light rail accident tonight between Marconi/Arcade and Watt/I-80 stations. Few details yet. 27 injured; 2 "moderate" injuries out of a total of 13 transported to hospitals; the rest "walking wounded." The number of injured makes this one of the worst RT accidents, but so far there appear not to be any life-threatening injuries. The TV pics look like one of the ex-VTA trains was involved. Looks like it was near the RT shop and main yard.

There are no rail/highway grade crossings on that part of the line. PRW paralleling UP.
