ODOT is in the midst of planning for 4 additional runs on the Eugene-Portland section of the Cascades run. This would give 7 when the Starlight is included.
Maybe after they get this figured out they can plan on extending a couple runs further south. Places like Roseburg, Medford, Grants Pass and Ashland are ripe for this kind of stuff.
