"Real" trains, now again, connect with the Red and Purple Lines again at 7th and Fig., for direct "rail" service to USC, the Coliseum, Culver City, and Santa Monica, as of last Saturday.

Work on long delayed track and electrical work have been completed, on that original segment of LA's LRT system, used by both Expo and Blue Line trains, from 7th to Washington.

Service to Staple and Nokia is now restored at Chick Hearn/Pico Station for major events is also back. All is running again, just in time for school, USC Football, the Lambs, the Lakers, and the Clips....

The upper segment of the Blue Line from LA to LB will still be out for at least another month (some unconfirmed reports say much "more" time will be needed, past the end of September... to the end of, at least, October...?)….
