Fate of ACE's F40's?

Supposedly, before the end of this year, Altamont Corridor Express will be accepting the arrival of a handful of new SC-44 Charger locomotives from Siemens. Obviously, once the new engines are tested and deemed roadworthy, the fleet of F40's that have been around since the inception of ACE will be placed in a new role operationally. Has ACE publicly outlined whether the F40's will remain on the property? As backup locomotives, etc.?

With ACEForward and the planned expansion of their service, could the F40's stick around well into the next several years?
