I understand that a non-profit can't engage in politics - but I think this was simply a case of someone chartering the train, which as part of their business plan to support themselves, anyone could do. If you apply the same reasoning, then no political party should be able to rent/lease/use any publicly owned space either. So where are they going to hold their protests, rallies or conventions?
Too bad that those who make the biggest noise or threats get their way these days ...
