A street view on Google Earth shows maybe a 100' stretch of wood pilings approaching a far longer stretch of steel trusses. It'd be a good investment to repair with concrete pilings and steel deck, but a wood replacement could go in pretty quick. I gather a lot of the line does need significant maintenance if significant traffic is going to flow.
