Sam if you want to bow down to the alter of special Ed because he got the 4014 somewhat going for the groupies to foam and drool all over, that's up to you. This Big Boy hysteria is crazy in my opinion. Some people aren't willing to forget the trashing of the 3985 on purpose, filling 844 boiler up with mud, the longest ass covering boiler wash in history, the rotary snow plow that has turned a wheel in years, the 6936 that sits idle, the E units that don't run anymore, and good employees ran off because OMG they might know more than the steam jesus himself.

The 4014 isn't steaming right for numerous reasons burner system is no good, the locomotive is to big for what its being tasked to do. Its a joke for it to be pushed around all over the country and only running at top speed of 45mph!!!! But hey the armrest and whistle work good and I guess for the UP steam at this point in time that's enough.
