At best, ACE might be able to revive the old SP right of way over the Altameont from Tracy to eastern Livermore near Greenville Road. The UP could add capacity to sidings at Midway and at Radum/East Pleasanton by renovating the former SP along Stanley Blvd from just storage to a full blown controlled siding with two tracks and the main.

But from Valley Ave and Stanley through downtown Pleasanton? Please, stop! It hurts to laugh so much. The money needed to clear out the homes along that part of the right of way is not in anyone's budget, fantasy or not...
