Excellent article. Your negativity on any new technology is really odd. Steam was nice, but it evolved into diesels, the electric. The auto is in the same state of flux. The internal combustion engine has reached it's zenith. You can not make it anymore efficient, hence electric autos. Actually hydrogen powered cars would be even better, and we will see it soon.

Hyper loop is a great idea, and if works, I would ride it.
