What about getting more freight service in San Rafael, getting some of these trucks off the road? Restoring service to Healdsburg? Can NWP have the power by themselves to pull the lengthy loads of supracrete sleepers?

Please, focus more on extending freight service to HEaldsburg instead of this nonsense about voting no. Voting no for who? PEnce/Trump? PElosi? Pelosi doesn't even represent SMART's service area excepting the thousand or so ferry commuters who will be commuting from San Francisco via ferry and the SMART through Larkspur. These droves of humanity will stand right where 2472 used to rust on the sleepers. They were wooden sleepers back then. I led the charge on restoring her. Saw her every day from the freeway (state highway not a freeway technically) and even helped the G&W move her. I told them they should head north not south as you don't want to use the carfloat with such a heavy piece of rolling stock.
