Jeff I have it on good authority from the nwprr.net Network that not all of those hoppers originated in Windsor. In fact, many of them have come from Richmond, and not even been shipped to Windsor before, be it by rail or by truck or what have you. We have gone over this with a fine-toothed comb at the Network, my colleagues and I, and have examined it from every angle. It has been thoroughly looked into, I can assure you, and what I tell you has the stamp of truth. These are not grain hoppers, FYI, as you seem to think. No these are carbolic acid hoppers used with high pressure air for food grade shipments, I think.
Your post raises an interested question: what year was the 2472 shipped out of Larkspur? Ironic isn't it that it is going to be shipped back in eh?
