1) proper boiler blowdown and boiler washes were NOT performed on 844 from the time he took over (Jan. 1, 2011), which subsequently filled the boiler belly on 844 with all sorts of cement.

2) First shot out of Cheyenne in the spring of 2011, he had made all the rod bearings way too tight (he didn't like the clanking sounds the rods made), and subsequently burnt up some rod brasses all the way to Kansas City.

3) Was responsible for flattening the driver tires on 844 down in Texas (forgot what year that was).

4) With 844 out of service for 3 years due to all the crap built up in the belly, plus firebox side sheet damage from burning #2 diesel fuel, the UP had no operable steam locomotive for the first time in their history!

Yes, it will make Yuma, but will it be within the FRA Hours of Service law for the Engineer, i.e. the current manager?
