Had an appointment at Hines VA Hospital yesterday, only way to get there was via Uber, all other modes of travel, my ex, my son, Medicar weren't available.
Needed to establish an account. Went to Uber's website, entered all info, came back bank rejected my credit card, tried again, same result. Called the bank, turned out that they had approved the application. Tried one more time via laptop, still the same result.

Had to have my son use his account to get to/from Hines. Once he did that, everything worked. Notification of time of arrival for pickup, car make, color, license plate number, name of driver. Very decent ride, no rape, no robbery, delivery on time.

Round trip was $50.00 plus tips. Kinda heavy dollar-wise, but the MRI was "free".
