An excavator went under it earlier this month and you can clearly see the bridge being rattled as it passed beneath. It must be a constant headache for the railroad, which has to inspect the bridge every time there is impact to determine it is safe to traverse. If the perfect storm ever happened with the right vehicle striking the bridge, with the wrong kind of train simultaneously passing overhead, it could be a total disaster. I'm sure the RR wants this solved as much as the DTD does.
