Gygercounter or Morse Code on Dispatcher 54 radio in Bakersfield area

On Saturday while following 14 into Bakersfield, 54's radio had an annoying rapid ticking noise (have a recording but don’t know how to post it)
Sounded like a Radioactive Gyger counter or rapid morse code
it was so bad some trains could not hear the dispatcher
