I remember seeing it on a flat car in the UP yard just outside the gate at the Portola RR museum. Can’t remember if that was 2003 or 2004. (I have a pic of it somewhere) I actually thought the paint scheme was pretty cool. Shame it was scrapped I’m sure it atill had alot of life left in it.
As for the axles I’m sure the pit were good at holding grease ;)
