Did you forget that the original tender (coal) from 4014 is still sitting in Cheyenne, intact? That said, the current manager "donated" all the coal grates to the Milwaukee 261 group. Thus, returning 4014 back to coal burning would be a little more expensive, if such a folly was even considered.
