Was I there for the trips over Cajon? Yes. Were the diesels working there? Yes. Did I claim otherwise? No.

Did I claim I was on the diesel? No. Did I claim to know the engineer? No. You sure are free with trying to twist what I said...

What I said was that, by sound, I could tell that the diesel wasn't working going up Archer. I've been trackside for 50 years; I'm pretty sure I can hear the difference between idle and run 8. (Yeah, I know, there are other notches. But what notch would a single unit be in, going up Archer at about 40 MPH, pulling 21 empties and pushing a Big Boy that wasn't doing any actual work? It wouldn't be in run 1 or 2.)
