this could be a bridge to nowhere, unless the commission finds 20 million dollars more. carson city voters couldn't be persuaded with a promise of a percentage of 'profits'. i dont believe access to viginia city has been worked out yet, either. a railroad from mound house to gold hill will attract a few [me, included], but probably less than the 140,000 being counted on. my guess is that traffic projections are going to be hard to meet in any case. ride it when you can. rh
