To SP5103, that was necessary because the geography of the line was completely changed by the
rather large pit that was dug after the V&T line into VC was abandoned. There was no possibility
of rebuilding on the original ROW because Crown Point Trestle would have needed sky hooks to hold
it in place. I do agree though that it looks more like an SP branch line than the V&T. One other
thing, the new bridge will nearly go over the paved over crossing in 50 that was installed about
thirty years ago for the previous attempt at the V&T reconstruction. Of course at the moment,
though paved over, it still points right to that very non-protoperiodical (wrong period) trailer
park!
