For those of you with trolley museums, please read the one critical line in today's article about the long-suffering Yakima operation.

Suggestions from this engineer:

Leave the power turned on. Instill a device at "the end of the line" or wherever, with secure telephone line, that will alarm the local police and at least one member living nearby if the power goes off.

Protect against friction bearing brass theft, trolley car stripping, and diesel locomotive stripping.
