The line is intact except for a couple of locations where there is a rail or 2 removed by a local land owner who trespassed doing it. The Diamond with the UP Ione Branch is removed but is seat off to the side of the track At Wilton. Right now the major issue is the Moukolomee River bridge has damage due to a homeless encampments setting fire to the bridge approach’s so the track is out of service . CCT fixed up 7 miles of track in the past to store cars between Stockton and Liberty road .Track is also removed from Liberty Road and all the crossing signals have been removed. There are no plans to put the track back in service, but the 2 owner roads will not sell the corridor.
