Wow... After all of that crazy train... the costs dont't look that bad.

The costs don't appear that unreasonable. When you consider the need to basically rebuild from the ground up to get the line up to a Class 4 or 5 operating speed. And then, you add in a lot of those other grade crossing costs, at up to a million a pop, and upgraded drainage, bridge and culvert upgrades, and/or replacements, any road work, this is not that out of line, these days.
