Wow someone is paying attention. Good post. Let's get off the train at Larkspur, walk four tenths of a mile (in the rain)to the ferry terminal while the bus from San Rafael has already let off it's passengers at the terminal fifteen minutes earlier and departed. Whoops the gang plank is raised and the next ferry departure is a half hour away if you're lucky. Meanwhile had you gotten off the train in San Rafael and taken a direct bus to the city (minus any major traffic accidents)You would be at work. There has to be close and dependable timed schedules between trains, busses and ferries for the Larkspur extension to make any sense at all.
