Not sure why the CF7 references. There was a GP7u at Orange, and a GP20u at Fullerton. No CF7. Nonetheless, THAT'S the Orange County I knew and loved. Spent many hours of my youth in both locations in the 70s and 80s.
The "running ground man" at Fullerton was nothing unusual for the time. I used to get on and off at speed all the time back in the day when it was still permitted. Wish they would bring that back on BNSF.
I don't live down there any more but I still have a house about a mile from Orange Jct. and a few miles from Fullerton. My kids love both the Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton and Ruby's in the depot in Orange. It's not the same for me these days but the video brought back some fond memories. OC was an amazing place back then and where I spent most of my adult life before it got too crowded and too liberal for my taste and I had to GTFO.
