Commendable. Sounds similar to my German ancestors' trek here in the early part of the Twentieth Century. The difference is your relatives who escaped the Bolsheviks and ultimately ended up in the U.S. were humbled to be here and didn't view America as a land of oppression.

Yes I am, and again, the difference is the Irish that emigrated here during the great potato famine were grateful to be in America, to be given the opportunity to integrate and become Americans and weren't seeking handouts. Big difference from the illegal aliens we're talking about.
