If I'm not mistaken, the location highlighted in the previous post is called Peninsula Junction by the Union Pacific. North Portland Junction refers to the location about a mile to the north where the UP Seattle Subdivision joins the BNSF Fallbridge subdivision, used by UP trains bound to and from Tacoma/Seattle.

But, this is definitely the location previously referred to as a candidate for turning the Big Boy.
