Not really nimby's but insiders and power brokers. And in re nimby nobody who wants to avoid trouble wants section 8 in their 'hood and that is what ABAG was demanding from Larkspur related to the SMART extension. There's no status or money, just headaches, in low income housing, on a par with homeless shelters and massage parlors.

The really big SMART errors were made by the few local good ol' boys who cut out GGT and cut in NWP and demanded doodlebugs.

I guess we get what we deserve.
