BoB2 isn't this normal north bay s.o.p., for trying to get anything at all done? Sides are set against each other; compromises make little sense, in order for the project to go forward? In this case multiple transit agencies and local governments are the opposing interests... You can't expect a kangaroo, for example to type. This routine is simply all the afore mentioned know how to do because it's been this way for so long. I dunno, just my .02.
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how the passenger transfers at the ferry terminal work out. A half mile walk is just that but if a passenger has a skateboard/scooter thing (I know, I know, hear me out), it'll go pretty quick and is likely to be fun for them. Now, I know that anything that not everybody is able to do or wants to do causes for lack of a better term, nimbyism aka "NO you can't do THAT; it's UNSAFE!" 'kinda thing. Anyway, I suspect that may be the cause of a solution which will likely be shuttles, like the kind they have at Sears Pt that takes you from the parking lots to the event.
