The legal right to take a photograph has little to do with all this. It is really more about respecting others and being willing to carrying your own load. Lots of potential gray areas. What about the guy who volunteered time and hard work to resurrect a dead steam engine, but then "freeloads" a fan trip with the engine he helped restore.
