I'll endorse the view that it's worth going once -- I had a long-term assignment in Sac one year and was able to stay over a weekend and drive down to Stockton. But, although I saw some prominent Southern California railfans there, I for one would say that I guess it's worth it if you want to see what the fuss is about. Lots of artsy-fartsy shots of someone's pet theme with mediocre rock music, and an all day nerd parade. . .
