BLASPHEMERS! Winterail is definitely worth attending. However if you cannot appreciate great railroad photography, presented at considerable effort by the photographers, along with the considerable efforts of Victor Neves, Evan Werkema and the Winterail Roadies, or you have any doubts, please feel free to not attend. The swap meet part is also fun, and there are always lots of old friends to see, even new ones to meet. Nobody will force you to spend your money on railroadiana from the swap meet. If you think an item is too expensive don't buy it. But the fact the the swap meet has way outgrown the available space should indicate its popularity.
Indeed, as posted above, please let the negative comments of others dictate what you see and do. After all, the negative folks are entitled to their opinions, even if they are misguided. The fewer negative people who show up, who are not serious about attending Winterail, the more full event tickets that will be available for those who can and do annually enjoy Winterail.
