From my own personal view: yes, the shows tend to be more Western Rail oriented (go figure) but SO WHAT???? There are shows that focus on Eastern roads and that's a minor point at best. The best part os being able to meet and chat with the pros in the business, something that you won't do at your local hobby emporium. The photography (this IS a photography show with presentations that vary from "oh, nice" to "OHMYGAWD...!!!") is what this is all about. If you want to watch, listen, and enjoy PLEASE DO SO.

If you want to whine, pout, and pass judgement on people and stuff without even bothering to show up... well, that's your choice but IMHO its pretty silly. Ya think?
