I know that spot well... but I fear your date is off by a couple of years. I don't think that METRO was running between the rails yet by 1976, and there was no such thing as a Ford Fairmont yet (of which there are a couple in your Dad's shot).

I would guess 1979 or so? (Have to do some Internet searching to get more accurate.)
