The San Poil line is still owned and operated by Omnitrax. They have it for sale, but no takers as of yet. Frontier Rail was in line to take over the operation on a lease basis late last year, but there have been a number of hurdles which have prevented that from happening to date. As of now, trains are still running a round trip on M/W/F, barring derailments, interchanging with the STPP in Kettle Falls.
