That brought back a lot of memories, although for me it was on the Western Pacific out of Stockton (and, yes, my hair was a lot longer in those days). The scenes on the "Ultra Turn" very much reminded me of working Tidewater Southern jobs between Stockton, Modesto, and Turlock, although our speed limit was a bit slower. It seems like those were the last days of "classic" railroading, and I'm very glad I was there for it.
(Now waiting for someone to say, "Okay, Boomer.")
