Okay, I was off by one. The Santa Fe Pinole depot was a very different-looking single-story building. When I saw the ex-SP building in American Canyon (1974 or 75) there was also an SP dome car sitting next to it. Don't know if this was the one that later went to the shopping center in Rocklin, but it looked pretty bad at the time.
