Timing issues, on advanced crossing systems, have a lot of variables, including, integration of traffic controls and advanced timing of the traffic lights. Another problem is some of these systems, are set, for whatever reason, to turn "everything" red. So often the parallel traffic is delayed, too. I note that even Pasadena and MTA have still never seemed to get that right on Arroyo Parkway, parallel to the Gold Line, after 17 years....
