All the old heads to a man said the 4294 was the worst riding of the fleet; it "beat you to death". However, this shouldn't be a reason not to get it running again. The SP sandblasted it, without covering any part of the running gear etc., and gave it a fresh coat of paint before moving it into the bldg at Old Sac., so there's a lot of sand in the works everywhere.
