Finally some footage has been produced showing 2472 in action on the NWP on the Tiburon Branch, which I discovered recently while looking out the window while driving up the freeway. Tiburon Branch was right next to Larkspur where the 2472 rusted on the sleepers into the late 90's before the California Northern Green & Whites (the Junior Mints line as we called it because that's who apparently owned it) picked it up. I saw that happening when I was driving home on freeway on afternoon. This was before the days of IPads or hotspots otherwise I probably would have missed it--would have been busy texting I guess.
For years it rusted and I saw it there. Now the haters are silenced. The revisionists are revised out of the picture. And we can all admit that SP 2472, originally NWP 2472, was at Larkspur.
